A girl was hit by a car on a busy A-road.
South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car on the A259 Roundstone Bypass in Angmering at around 8.20am today.
The person was treated for a head injury and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Police said the pedestrian was a 18-year-old girl.
Eyewitnesses, who also reported that the pedestrian was female, said the road was temporarily closed following the incident.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on camera is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting serial 224 of 19/09.”
