A clothing brand will open a new shop in the city centre.

Scamp and Dude has taken over the former Oliver Bonas unit in North Street, Brighton.

Signs on the building say the shop is opening soon and is recruiting staff.

Oliver Bonas moved four doors up North Street to fill the large unit left empty by Habitat last summer.

Both units are part of the Hanningtons Estate where Oliver Bonas first opened in 2019 when it moved from its smaller Bond Street store.

The shop has more than doubled its size in the move, the new space is 4,770 square feet, and offers a wider variety of fashion, homeware, and gifts.

The lifestyle and clothes brand has signed a ten-year lease on the new site.

Scamp and Dude is a B-Corp-certified company.

To achieve the certification, businesses must meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
