A driver fled the scene of a two-car crash in which a woman was hurt. 

The driver of a black MG 5 was involved in a smash with a blue Skoda Octavia on the M23.

Police were called to the collision on the southbound carriageway near junction 10 shortly before 5pm on Tuesday, September 17.

The driver of the Octavia, a 46-year-old woman from Southwater, near Horsham sustained slight injuries but did not require hospital treatment, police said.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "One driver did not remain at the scene of the collision and left the area on foot.

"Officers are investigating, and have appealed for anyone with information such as CCTV or dashcam footage of the vehicles in the area at the time to come forward."
