Our seaside city is known for being a busy spot with the hustle and bustle of tourists, shoppers and locals.

But in the early mornings, as summer drifts into autumn, Brighton and Hove can be very serene.

Camera club member Dave Mason got his drone out to capture sunrise over the city to savour the peace.

It means Dave can offer interesting perspectives of the city.

The A259 Marine Parade in Kemp Town is positively empty and Hove Lawns are deserted in his shots.

Clear skies make for great views in the snaps, with just a few small clouds and vapour trails to be seen.

The orange sun rising over in the distance cast Roedean School in a bright glow and the marina car parks, usually heaving, were nearly empty.

As well as the vast blue of the sea, the city looks very green from above with Brunswick Square, Sussex Square and Duke's Mound in the shots.

With large parts of Hove and Kemp Town in the pictures we wonder if any of you can spot your own homes?
