It's music to our ears! The Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra is celebrating its 100th birthday and we're offering you the chance to win concert tickets to join the festivities.

The orchestra has been serving local audiences for the last century with their wonderful music and performances and now upon reaching their centenary are more than ready to honour the occasion. The group is based in Brighton and Hove and is led by music director Joanna MacGregor CBE who's one of the world's most innovative musicians having appeared as a concert pianist, curator and conductor. The orchestra's performances are designed to be enjoyed by all.

As they approach their centenary, they mark the milestone with a blockbuster season of concerts, opening with Stravinsky's explosive The Rite of Spring and culminating in Messiaen's cosmic Turangalîla Symphony.

Along the way, you'll hear music from 'Psycho', a roaming bagpiper, an evening of cool jazz, Walton's huge Belshazzar's Feast, and New York legends Steve Reich and Yoko Ono.

Joining them will be star performers and world-class soloists including Evelyn Glennie, Jess Gillam, Gwilym Simcock, Alistair McGowan, Brighton Festival Chorus and more.

It promises to be an unmissable season of musical delights.
