Comedians are invited to try their luck for an award that celebrates new acts.
Online entries are now open for the Komedia New Comedy Award 2025, run by Komedia in Gardner Street, Brighton.
The aim is to discover and support exciting new comics and to offer them opportunities for development.
Semi-finals and final taking place in January and February 2025.

Last year’s winner Andrew Fox continues to rise on the national comedy circuit as well as working with Komedia Productions in the Brighton community.

Komedia co-founder Marina Kobler said: “We’re thrilled to welcome a new crop of emerging comedians to the Komedia New Comedy Award 2025. Being a highlight in our comedy calendar we are looking forward to embracing the energy of new talent and can’t wait for the show to begin."
The winner will get an award, a spot at Comic Boom comedy club at Komedia and a bottle of fizz.
