A man was pronounced dead at a property following concerns for his welfare.
Officers were called to the address in Storrington Close, Hove, just after 9pm last night.
Despite the best efforts of police, who commenced CPR, the local man, in his 50s, was pronounced dead.
His next of kin have been informed.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “There are no suspicious circumstances and this will now be a coronial matter.”
