Roads will be shut for a music festival playing host to some of the country's best DJs.
Thousands of revellers will descend on Stanmer Park later this month to party at the Boundary Brighton festival to a booming electronic music soundtrack on Saturday, September 28.
But to make sure the event goes ahead safely the council has ordered the closure of several nearby roads.
Stony Mere Way, from Lewes Road to the university junction will be closed from 10pm on Friday, September 27 to 1am on Sunday, September 29.
During this time, people living nearby may be able to use the road under escort from event officials.
The one-day-long festival brings big names such as Wilkinson, Hedex and Imanu to its four stages throughout the day - targeted at students starting at the city's two universities.
Council culture boss Donna Chisolm published a letter to inform people living nearby of the closures.
Her letter also said a lane in Village Way, near the Amex, will be turned into a taxi rank for the duration of the festival.
