A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a bus.
The man suffered serious injuries during the incident involving his e-bike and a Metrobus bus in The Boulevard, Crawley on Wednesday evening.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said the force is appealing for witnesses after part of the road was closed into the early hours of the morning following the crash.
The force said: "We are investigating a serious collision involving a bus and a cyclist in The Broadway, Crawley, just before 9pm on Wednesday, September 11.
"The male cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. No one else was injured.

"Police are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone who has mobile phone or dashcam footage of the collision to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting Operation Flitwick."
A cordon was put in place around the bus which had its glass door shattered during the collision.
Dave Wright, operations manager for Metrobus, said: "Last night around 9pm a bus was hit by a person riding an electric bike.
"The electric bike came out from a pedestrian walkway at Broadway, Crawley to the left-hand side of the bus.
"An ambulance and the police were called straight away. The driver and two passengers on board were not injured. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the cyclist at this time."
