A former tennis captain has denied groping a teenage girl at his club.
Max Hankinson, 27, who was captain of the adult male team at Angmering Lawn Tennis Club, entered not guilty pleas to three counts of sexual assault.
Lewes Crown Court heard Hankinson denied touching the young woman, now in her 20s, at the club in 2020.
He was men's first team captain at the time.

Hankinson, from Angmering, was told he will have to wait a year before his trial can be heard.
Angmering Lawn Tennis Club in the village of East Preston is described as one of the top venues in West Sussex.
It has seven floodlit courts, a mini court and clubhouse with bar and shop.
Hankinson will appear again at Lewes Crown Court in August next year.
