A would-be robber threatened staff and demanded money from them at a betting shop.
Police are investigating the attempted robbery at the Ladbrokes, Carden Avenue, Brighton, on Sunday evening.

Officers descended on the shop after the incident which happened at around 7.30pm.
Four police cars were at the scene, including the police dogs unit.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "Detectives, investigating the incident, are following a number of lines of enquiry."
