A murder mystery experience could open in the basement of an Art Deco building in the city centre.
Ready Escape Rooms, the company which runs Brighton’s murder mystery experience above the World’s End pub in London Road, is hoping to move to Princes House off North Street.
The new murder mystery will be set at a wild party, hosted by The Prince Regent himself, where an unsolved murder took place.
Teams of up to 15 will be asked to solve the murder in newly created manor rooms in Princes House.
The plans are subject to approval from Brighton and Hove City Council to change the lower ground storage room into a game show/theatre room.

Will Armstrong, who co-owns the experience, said: “While we’re sad to be leaving The World’s End pub, we’re excited to hopefully be moving next to the Royal Pavilion Gardens.
“It feels like the perfect setting to build this uniquely Brighton-themed murder mystery where anyone who plays will have the chance to learn more about the city’s history, set within a fictional murder mystery.
“Don’t be surprised by in-character actors in the Pavilion Gardens introducing the story on a grander scale.”
The experience will include actors and the set will be designed befitting a royal party.
Planning permission on the space will be confirmed by October 16 this year.
Gina Horsham, of the nearby Sabai Thai Gastrobar, said: “This is a great opportunity to bring something unique to Princes House, we’re hoping it can bring more people into the Pavilion Gardens and the surrounding area.
Mr Armstrong said it plans to work with The Laine Pubs and Breweries, which runs The World's End, again in future.
He said: "While the partnership between The Laine Pubs and Breweries is coming to an end, we will continue to work with The Laine pubs by opening a new game show experience at North Laine Pub next to Valley Gardens later this year."
Ready Escape Rooms also runs Escape the Vault and Escape the Cell at Presuming Ed’s coffee house in London Road.
