The RNLI is looking for a water safety adviser to join its team.
The life-saving organisation needs someone to fill the volunteer role at its Newhaven branch.
The chosen person will provide water safety advice to the public, including in schools, and actively seek opportunities to promote targeted RNLI safety messages.
It is an opportunity for someone to contribute to the charity’s Community Lifesaving Plan and reduce the number of preventable deaths and incidents in water.

Activities include attending regular water safety meetings and presenting to or engaging with the public along with maintaining good relationships with local stakeholders and partners.
Water safety officer Jane Masey said: “Newhaven RNLI runs a welcoming and inclusive team.
“Training will be provided to fulfil the role in which new skills and experience may be gained, as well as earning the satisfaction of giving back.”
