Tributes have poured in for a beloved pub manager who died suddenly.
Police officers and paramedics were called to the Brighton Tavern in Gloucester Street, Brighton, over concerns for Sarah Nixon, who lived above the pub, on Saturday night.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, Ms Nixon, in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family have been informed.
Staff at the Brighton Tavern said: "It is with utter shock and sadness that we deliver the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear Sarah.
"We have no words, but pass on our love to Sarah's beautiful family at this incredibly difficult time.
"Sleep well beautiful girl."
Dozens of pub customers and friends have paid tribute to Ms Nixon on Facebook.

Ian Cox said: "I'm in complete shock at this terrible news. Sending love and hugs to family and friends."
Sarah Harris said: "Very sorry to hear this sad news. Sarah was always so warm and friendly - the heart and soul of the pub."
"Sarah was the epitome of warmth, kindness and love," said Gill Reynolds. "Making all feel welcome creating opportunities for connection with her celebration days and cook off events. Such a huge and significant loss for so many who were touched by her love."
Dave Wilkes added: "This is such terribly sad news. She was a wonderful warm hearted person and will no doubt be terribly missed by all who had the benefit and joy of her company, including me."
Sonny Tyler said: "I'm so sorry to hear this news. Sarah was lovely and had a heart of gold. She will be sorely missed. A sad day indeed and my thoughts are with you all."
Jack Samuel added: "Such sad news. Always such fun and welcoming on open mic night. Will miss her singing Show Me the Way to Go Home."
A spokesman for Sussex Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
“This will now be a matter for the coroner," the force spokesman said.
