A fundraising evening of live entertainment and dining will return in a newly refurbished Grade I listed building.
The Cornucopia fundraising gala will return to Brighton Dome on October 3 following last year’s success.
Guests will be treated to an evening of live entertainment and a dining experience that includes a three-course meal with wine, live comedy, music and performance.
The event will be in the setting of the historic Grade I listed newly refurbished Corn Exchange.
Brighton Dome’s Grade I and Grade II-listed Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre underwent a six-year revamp costing £38 million, in a bid to draw in international and local artists and visitors to the historic site.
The gala will be hosted by writer and performer Kit Green and also features comedian Spencer Jones, who features on the popular Ted Lasso TV show.
Guests will have a three-course meal using Sussex produce from The Secret Restaurant, plus hand-picked local and international wines from Burgundy Wines.
Proceeds from the gala will support Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival’s work as a registered charity, including sustaining and growing its work with artists, young people and community groups and teaching music to thousands of children and young people across Sussex via Create Music.
Last year’s event helped to raise more than £55,000 to support these projects.
Match funding has also been secured from local donors this year, so that the value of every ticket purchased will then be doubled and put towards achieving Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival’s charitable aims.

Art work from cult cartoonists and animators Modern Toss will also be on display, as well as performances from Create Music’s Sussex String Trio and the Brighton & Hove Youth Big Band.
More Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival artists are set to be announced.
The evening’s entertainment will be topped off by a friendly charity auction, raffle, and a prize for best dressed guest.
