Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.

Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

A few animals from the branch are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the Sussex North & Brighton branch carry on their work you can donate to them at the website here.

Daisy

Gender - Female

Age - 10 years old

Breed - Crossbreed/Unknown

Colour - Black and Tan

If you want to adopt Daisy you can view their full profile here.

Daisy is a friendly dog once she gets to know and trust a person but can be worried by strangers.

She knows sit and her name and has a good recall but does stay on the lead on walks as she would chase wildlife.

Daisy is quite an active dog so would benefit from having access to a garden to run about in.

She is looking for an experienced owner and a quiet home environment to allow her time to settle.

Margo

Gender - Female

Age - Six to 12 months old

Breed - Crossbreed/Unknown

Colour - Brindle

If you want to adopt Margo you can view their full profile here.

Margo is described as a "friendly, bouncy girl" who can be shy when meeting new people but soon warms up to them.

She is testing well with other dogs, and could live with another large dog in a new home or even a dog-savvy cat after successful introductions.

Ideally, Margo is looking for an experienced, large breed owner without young children as she will need some further training.

Flake

Gender - Male

Age - One year old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Ginger

If you want to adopt Flake you can view their full profile here.

Flake is described as a "handsome young cat" who is still finding his feet at the centre.

He enjoys some strokes and affection but has found the cattery environment a bit stressful.

The RSPCA adds: "Thankfully he has just been neutered, so hopefully this will help him nerves in the coming weeks.

"He will need a garden in his forever home as is a young cat with lots of exploring to do!"

Gender - Male (Aubin) and Female (Alaska)

Age - One year old

Breed - Lionhead crossbreed (Aubin) and Harlequin (Alaska)

Colour - White (Aubin) and Grey (Alaska)

If you want to adopt Aubin and Alaska you can view their full profile here.

Aubin and Alaska came to the Sussex North & Brighton branch after being born in foster care.

Both of them are not too keen on being picked up as they tend to wriggle and are on a diet at the moment as they are a little overweight.

They are looking to find a home together and will need a large setup, shed or wendy house with a run attached.

The RSPCA adds: "They both like toys and we often find them renovating their home as they move everything around!"
