Visitors have said a small beach in Sussex is better than Brighton's.
Recent Bexhill beach visitors have suggested that this stretch of shore trumps Brighton, which they say is "no comparison".
On TripAdvisor, Bexhill beach has an average rating of 4.5 out of five stars, with over 600 reviews made.

One recent reviewer said: "Our first ever visit to Bexhill and enjoyable.
"You can enjoy a walk without the crowds or noise and we parked centrally near the beach very easily and only £5.90 for the day.
"Quiet and clean and tidy all over. Compare this to busy Brighton and there's no comparison if you just want a quiet day on the beach."
Another visitor to the beach said: "I know it's not Brighton, but honestly you can sit by the sea and it's got lots of benches. The De La Warr Pavilion has toilets and there are several kiosks to buy ice cream.
"Very child-friendly and safe. Give it a try."
One person from Buckingham said: "On the day we visited the beach it was extremely quiet which surprised me as the weather was gorgeous.
"The beach is lined by a lovely prom, which is dotted with several cafes and ice cream parlours. A lovely place for a walk with the dog."
In the most recent review, one woman from Birmingham wrote: "We had a wonderful time on the beach, there were so many beautiful shells and quirky stones.
"The beach wasn’t very busy, there was no litter, and it was so cute to see seagulls sunbathing like humans do."
The beach has been named by TripAdvisor as the fourth best place to go in Bexhill.
Out of 627 reviews, 346 of these have branded the beach "excellent", while 213 people have labelled the beach as "very good".
The beach, which is not far from Hastings, has only one "terrible" review.
