More nesting boxes are set to be installed in a park.
Brighton and Hove City Council has confirmed it will use income parking to install another four boxes around Stanmer Park in Brighton, bringing the total to twelve.
This comes after the successful use of the boxes this year, with each being inhabited by nesting birds who have produced two broods of chicks.
This is an increase from last year, when just three of the boxes were being lived in.

The eight boxes were first installed by the council in 2022 as part of repair and maintenance work by the council's park and estate team.
The boxes were quickly lived in by house martins who had been returning on their spring migration from Africa.
This has since continued each year and the council hope that by introducing more boxes the park's house martin colony will expand every year.
The birds, which arrive in April and leave in October, are known for returning to the same nesting spots each year when they return to the UK.
The money will come from the parking fees at Stanmer Park.
