Police negotiated with two men during a rooftop incident which lasted 15 hours.
Sussex Police received a report of an assault at an address in Crowborough at around 8pm on Thursday, August 22.
Officers attended an address in Eastbourne to arrest a suspect shortly after midnight, when two men climbed on to a roof in Green Street.
Specialist negotiators engaged with the men throughout Friday, August 23, before the men came down from the roof at around 3pm.
A 29-year-old man from Crowborough was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, criminal damage, obstruction of police and two counts of theft.
A 20-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, two counts of criminal damage, obstruction of police, and theft of a motor vehicle.

A 54-year-old woman from Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of police.
All three remain in custody.
Green Street was closed during the incident.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Thank you to residents and the wider public for their patience while this was ongoing."
