A memorial bench and a wall have been destroyed by barbecue fires.
Crawley Borough Council said that in the past two weeks, flames from barbecues have destroyed a bench and a wall in Tilgate Park, Crawley.
The barbecues were held despite warnings that they are not allowed in the area.

A council spokesman said: "In the past two weeks barbecues have damaged a memorial bench and the dam wall in Tilgate Park.
"We don't allow barbecues in our parks because of the potential damage and risk of fire. Please help us protect our parks and woodland."
The park, which has its own farm area and playground, does not allow barbecues on any part of the land.
The council has also issued a rule that dogs in the area must be kept on leads around the lake and are not allowed in certain areas such as in the Nature Centre, walled garden or play area.
