A second council by-election is due to be held after a councillor resigned.
Richard Mulholland, former Worthing Borough councillor for Heene ward, has stepped down from his post.
The council has announced a by-election will be held later this year.
This is the second by-election in Worthing within months with one scheduled for September 19 to fill the vacant Marine ward post left by former council leader Beccy Cooper, who became the MP for Worthing West in July.

A spokesman for Worthing Borough Council said: “The deadline to register to vote for the Marine Ward by-election is September 3 or September 4 to be able to vote by post.
“Just like the recent general elections, voters will need to show photo ID to be able to vote in person at polling stations.
“If you do not have a photo ID, you can apply for a voter authority certificate by Wednesday 11th September instead.”
The date of the Heene ward by-election is yet to be confirmed.
