A Pride event has been cancelled over safety fears.
Seahaven Pride 2024 was due to take place all day on Saturday in Martello Fields, Seaford, but the organisers have now confirmed it will no longer be going ahead.
They said the decision to cancel had been made with a "heavy heart" and was a result of the forecast high winds, which would pose a safety risk to everyone at the event.
It has not been rescheduled and will not take place this year.
Organisers said in a statement on social media: "It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of Seahaven Pride 2024.

"Sadly, the weather is very much against us with extremely high winds forecast for our build day and the morning of our event.
"Our event production company's health and safety manager has advised that it is not safe to build the stage or to kit it out with all the equipment and roofing, or to deploy fencing and other infrastructure in time for the event to be delivered successfully.
"The risk to the safety of our partners, artists, traders, volunteers and attendees is paramount and with those in mind, there is no option but to cancel the event.
"For those that have purchased tickets, these can be rolled over to next year's event or there is an option to donate your 2024 ticket back to Seahaven Pride, which is a not-for-profit organisation.

"As a small team of volunteer organisers, we are absolutely devastated. We would like to thank everybody who has worked tirelessly together on the event and our supporters who bought tickets or supported in other ways.
"We look forward to seeing you at Seahaven Pride 2025."
The Met Office is predicting wind speeds of up to 44mph on Saturday, with a weather warning in place for heavy rain.
The warning is in place for the entire county from 6am until 1pm on Saturday.
