Protesters carrying pride flags and placards marched through the streets in support of Palestine.
Dozens of campaigners carrying pride flags and transgender identity flags marched along Brighton seafront in support of Palestine and calling for an end to genocide in the Middle East.
The protest also aimed to “reclaim pride as a protest”, claiming the event had been “co-opted for the self-serving interests of corporations and politicians”.
Marchers gathered at Regency Square before walking along Brighton seafront shortly after midday.
The group turned down West Street towards the Clock Tower before marching down North Street to St James’s Street and finishing at the Aids memorial statue in New Steine Gardens.
The march was then followed by a meet-up in Queen’s Park.
The protest was marshalled by Sussex Police who followed the group and separated them from traffic.
