A fetish festival is aiming to create a “safe, welcoming and social space” with a week-long programme of events.

Brighton Fetish Week will include over 30 events across ten venues in a bid to provide a space for people to openly discuss fetishes and kinks.

The events will include club nights, socials and cabaret nights as well as games and quizzes.

Ethan Rickards, director of Brighton Fetish Week, said: We are thrilled to bring Brighton Fetish Week to life after working on the idea for two years.

“Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming and social space, where people can openly discuss their fetishes and kinks.

“Brighton has always been known for its open-minded community, and we believe that the community needs more opportunities to connect.”

Events at the festival will be held in multiple places around St James's Street in Kemp Town including Centre Stage, Revenge and Charles Street Tap.

Notable performers include Cherry Bomb, Sabrina Jade and Letitia Delish.

The events are designed to be fully accessible, including wheelchair accessible venues, and is aimed at all sections and experience levels in the fetish community, organisers said.

Brighton Fetish Week begins on Saturday, August 24 and finishes on August 31.
