A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after hitting a parked car.
The rider of the motorbike hit the parked car near Beachy Head in Eastbourne shortly before 11.30am this morning.
An air ambulance was called to the scene and has since taken off in the direction of the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Sussex Police say the road will remain closed while investigation work continues.
A spokesman for the force said: "Emergency services were called to a report of a motorcycle colliding with a parked car in Beachy Head Road, Eastbourne, at around 11.20am on Sunday, August 18.
"The rider of the motorcycle has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, while a pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
