A dessert restaurant is set to open in a former high-street coffee shop.
Urban Chocolatier will open its 11th shop in Western Road, Brighton, this year. It will be its second outlet outside of London.
The dessert café, serving signature dishes including profiteroles, tiramisu and baklava, will open on the site of Mikel's Coffee which closed earlier this year.
With other stores decorated with neon signs and floral patterns, Urban Chocolatier describes itself as "born out of our artisan approach".

The stores serve a range of sweet treats including French toast, cookie dough and waffles.
The franchise currently has ten stores across the UK - nine of which are in London with one in Cardiff.
The coffee shop closed in February after first opening in November 2020.
The 1,900-square-foot Western Road unit stands out due to its ornate façade from its history as a bank.
It was changed in October 2019 when a planning application changed its use from “financial service” to a restaurant.
The dessert restaurant is the third of its kind in Western Road with Treatz and Creams Café both located along the same stretch of the city centre.
