A college student who received four A* in his A Levels says he is “excited” as he heads to Cambridge for university.
BHASVIC student Laurence Wakeford received the top marks in all four of his subjects, adding he is “very pleased” to be heading to one of the UK’s top universities.
It comes as the college celebrated sending 42 students to Oxford and Cambridge this year.
Laurence, who studied maths, further maths, physics and French, said: “I felt like the exams went quite well so I was expecting them to be fairly good but it’s always a surprise, you never know what’s going to happen. I’m very pleased.
