A two-storey town centre office block could be converted into 29 flats.

Wicker Eagle Worthing Limited has submitted proposals to Adur and Worthing Councils for prior approval to turn Wicker House in High Street, Worthing, into homes.

If approved, the 29 flats would be a mix of 28 one-bedroom flats and one two-bed flat.

Each of these would have open-plan kitchens, lounges, and dining areas.

Wicker Eagle Worthing Limited said the conversion of the offices into flats would be "complimentary to the conservation area and will not have a detrimental impact on its character or sustainability".

The development would also have 30 parking spaces, with one available for each one-bed flat and two available for the two-bed abode.

The development would have 15 cycle stands for people to safely secure their bikes.

Adur and Worthing Councils is set to make a decision on the plans by October 9.
