A family bike protest ride is set to take place next month.
Brighton’s Kidical Mass family-friendly bike ride will return to the city on September 22 as part of the World Car Free Day celebrations.
The event, which calls on councils to provide safer cycling infrastructure to make cycling more accessible in the city, is free for anyone to join.
The ride is marshalled and begins at the Peace Statue on Hove seafront at 2.30pm.
People can also start at 2pm from Wish Park, Hove Park, The Level or Black Rock, to cycle together to this meeting point.

The ride will end at St Peter’s Church at around 4.15pm, where riders will get to see the finale of the Blazing Saddles bike dance show, with performers from Brighton Multicultural Women’s Cycle Club.
The ride will see everyone travel at the same pace as one group.
More information can be found at https://bricycles.org.uk/.
The event has been organised by cycling campaign groups Bricycles, Brighton Bike Hub, Brighton Multicultural Women's Cycle Club (The BMWs), Clean Air for Brighton and Hove, and Old Shoreham Road (OSR) Bike Train, with funding from The Big Bike Revival.
Ursula Nield of Brighton Bike Hub said: "Many children and families love cycling but rarely get a chance to ride on roads due to a lack of protected cycle lanes.
"Kidical Mass calls for a joined-up network of cycle routes around the city which could facilitate healthier streets, less air pollution, fewer accidents and provide an opportunity for people to get around town safely."
Iliana Koutsou from Bricycles said: "We’re pleased that work on the Valley Gardens bicycle corridor will start later this year but are concerned that an opportunity to connect it to new cycling infrastructure to the east of the city will be missed.
"We urge the council to build protected bike lanes along Marine Parade, connecting it to Valley Gardens, thus encouraging a safer citywide ride without detours."
Participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress and decorate their bikes, taking along bells, whistles, flags, bubble blasters and bike-mounted sound systems.
All children taking part in the event will need to be accompanied by an adult.
