New council homes being built on what was a village car park are progressing well.
Adur District Council said the seven new properties in South Street, Lancing, have just had the electrics installed before the plasterers start work.
It comes just months after the foundations of the homes were put in place along with groundwork and internal walls.

The seven properties, four one-bedroom homes and three two-bedroom homes, will be occupied by people on the council waiting list.
A council spokesman said: "We’re using modern, sustainable construction techniques to create these new council houses for Adur families who would otherwise be homeless.
"We hope the first residents will be able to move there in January 2025."
The project is part of the council’s plan to build extra homes on old garage compounds and under-utilised sites in Sompting, Shoreham, Southwick, and Fishersgate.
