Five people were rescued from the water after a boat sank.
HM Coastguard was alerted to a small vessel capsizing and sinking off the coast of Seaford yesterday, August 12, at around 2.40pm with five people still on board.
The group in distress were all wearing life jackets and were taken to shore by a jet ski which was in the area, the coastguard said.

The five people were then cared for by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
A coastguard helicopter, coastguard rescue teams from Newhaven and Birling Gap, a Newhaven RNLI lifeboat, South East Ambulance Service and Sussex Police all attended the scene.
