A beer festival is coming to a town centre featuring local and national real ales.

The Arun and Adur branch of Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), a consumer organisation that advocates for quality real ale, cider and perry, is hosting its 26th beer festival in Worthing in October.

It will feature over 40 cask ales, 10 craft keg beers and 10 types of cider, all sourced from local and national producers, with the promise of drinks being at or below pub prices.

Food, including vegetarian and vegan options, will be on offer from Piglets Pantry of Worthing, with other drinks such as wine, gin and soft drinks available.

CAMRA has chosen Care for Veterans, a Worthing organisation that supports disabled ex-service personnel, as its charity partner for this year’s event.

Last year, almost £100 was donated to the charity.

Unspent drink tokens can be donated to the organisation at the festival.
