Firefighters tackled a vehicle blaze at a busy junction.
Crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) were called to the fire on Friday at Viaduct Road, on the corner of Ditchling Road, Brighton, at 10.35pm.
They put out the fire with a hose reel jet.
ESFRS said no casualties were reported.
Sussex Police were at the scene and have been contacted for further comment.
