Coastguard crews scoured a beach after a windsurfing board washed up.
Emergency services were called to Worthing beach yesterday at 8pm to investigate the washed up watersports gear.
Coastguard staff searched the beach while the RNLI lifeboat scoured the coastline.

A spokesman for HM Coastguard said: "Coastguard Rescue Teams (CRTs) from Littlehampton and Shoreham were called, alongside RNLI Shoreham Lifeboat.
"Following further investigation with Sussex Police, the search was stood down at around 9.30pm."
Sussex Police have been contacted for further comment.
