People can enjoy a silver-service dining experience on steam trains this Christmas.

The Bluebell Railway has announced a number of Golden Arrow lunches and dinners this December for guests to get into the festive spirit.

The railway's Pullman cars Christine, Fingall and Car 54 - a new accessible carriage - will recreate the once famous Golden Arrow service between London and Paris.

The Pullman cars will have plush seating and will take customers from Sheffield Park to East Grinstead and back.

The journey will last three and a half hours on the evening dining trains as it journeys through the Sussex countryside.

During the journey, passengers can enjoy a three-course festive meal.

This includes various roast dinner options and festive desserts.

A cup of tea or coffee at the end of the meal is included in the cost of the ticket, which starts at £125 per person.
