Storage space above a city clothing shop could be converted into two flats.
Plans have been submitted to turn the upper floor of a building currently home to Barbour in East Street, Brighton, into new homes.
One of the flats would have two bedrooms, including one ensuite, and the other would have three bedrooms.

The flats would have their own private entrance and would not impact the use of the ground floor.
Clarion Chartered Surveyors, on behalf of The Baron Homes Corporation Ltd, said: "The flats will be located on the first floor above the rear of the existing shop and make use of a redundant site.
"The creation of two additional flats will contribute to the supply, mix and range of housing in the district.
"The use and running of the shop will not be affected by the change of use on the first floor which is no longer needed for storage or warehousing.
"There will not be any changes or losses of jobs within the store as a result of the change of use."
Brighton and Hove City Council will decide whether to approve the plans by September 30.
