A festival is returning to the city for a weekend full of coffee, latte art competitions and new blends.
Brighton Coffee Festival is back and will be open Saturday and Sunday at All Saints Church in The Drive in Hove.
The event has grown into one of the most popular UK independent coffee festivals and aims to promote the best the city’s coffee scene has to offer.
In addition to the local scene the festival will be welcoming some international brands.
Some of the sponsors include Califia Farms, Victoria Arduino, Embargo App, iX Water and DeBaere.
This year sees the launch of the Brighton Coffee Festival Coffee Liqueur in partnership with Devil's Dyke Distillery.
Devil’s Dyke Distillery is a small family business that started as a lockdown project in 2020. Faye Collyer-Rolls and her partner own, locally source and distil their gin from around West Sussex.
She said: “When lockdown hit it was a bit difficult to go out and enjoy our gin habits, so we thought ‘how hard can it be to make our own?’ and that’s where the project for Devil’s Dyke Distillery was born.
“Four years on we are going strong and our cocktail-making events have been increasingly popular. Our London dry gin is our base and all the botanical blend is all sourced from the Dyke and in West Sussex.”
“It’s great that we are able to work alongside Brighton Coffee Festival and create a nice coffee liqueur and bring our signature Nut Job Chocolate and Hazelnut Liqueur.”
Alongside the annual Latte Art Championships, this year will see the launch of the Level Coffee Championships - a competition aiming to level the playing field of coffee competitions.

“We are particularly proud to have announced Rockinghorse Children’s Charity as the official charity partner for 2024.”
