Buses are being diverted in Brighton this evening over fears of riots.
Stagecoach has announced that two of its buses will be running on a different route from 6pm today, August 7.
The 17 and 700 buses will be “unable to serve parts of Brighton city centre for the duration of the evening”.
The 17, running from Brighton to Horsham, will start and terminate at The Level in Brighton.
The Coastliner 700 from Wick to Brighton will start and terminate at Palmeira Square.

Stagecoach also said that if action starts early, diversions will be put in place earlier than 6pm.
Passengers are advised to check the Stagecoach South social media for updates or the service updates webpage.
A spokesman for Stagecoach said: “The safety of our customers and staff remains our number one priority.
“We will continue to monitor incidents throughout the day and will take necessary steps to provide safe travel for our customers and employees.”
