A pub with clifftop views has been named among the top outdoor dining spots in the UK.
The Smugglers Rest in Telscombe Cliffs, near Peacehaven, was ranked eighth in the new list and was praised for its alfresco dining options as visitors can dine outside on its terrace.
The pub, in South Coast Road, was rated in a list by Eat Drink Meet, an app and website guide to restaurants.

People can use its filters to find beer gardens, pubs with views and gastro pubs or discover venues with pub quizzes or live music nights.
On The Smugglers Rest, Eat Drink Meet, said: “With stunning clifftop views of the English Channel, The Smugglers Rest in Peacehaven makes for an idyllic evening meal in the hazy British sunshine.
