The GP surgeries with the most and least helpful receptionists, according to patients, have been revealed.
Arch Healthcare in Brighton saw 100 per cent of those completing the NHS Patient Survey say its receptionists were helpful.
At the bottom end of the table, The Avenue Surgery in Brighton saw the highest number of patients (47.6 per cent) saying its receptionists were unhelpful.
The surgery also received the lowest overall positive experience percentage with 36.4 per cent.
It received the highest percentage for overall negative experience at 46.1 per cent.
Arch Healthcare was the GP surgery in Sussex with the second highest overall positive experience with 97.7 per cent, just under Northiam Surgery in Rye with 98.8 per cent.
The survey, which was recorded between January 2 and March 25 this year, asked residents for their views on their doctors' surgeries across a range of different areas, including the ease of contacting the surgery by phone and whether they could see their preferred GP.

Around 2.56 million questionnaires were sent out to patients aged 16 or over registered with GP practices in England. Some 699,790 patients completed and returned a questionnaire, resulting in a national response rate of 27.3 per cent.
