A young motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash.
Police were called to the scene in Ersham Road, Hailsham, at around 4pm on Friday.
A Yahama MT motorcycle and a Dacia Sandero were involved in a collision.
The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man from East Preston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver, a 68-year-old man from Croydon, sustained minor injuries.
The B2104 was closed both ways between Summer Hill Lane and Otham Court Lane following the crash.
An air ambulance was called to the scene.
Sussex Police are appealing for information “to establish the full circumstances of the incident”.
