Three outdoor gyms will be installed in parks across the city this year.
Brighton and Hove City Council will be adding the free equipment to Victoria Recreation Ground in Portslade, Preston Park in Brighton and Wish Park in Hove next month.
The designs for each park will be different and have been shaped by consultations held with people living in each area.

Councillor Alan Robins, cabinet member for sport and recreation, said: "With the current cost of living crisis, it's really important that residents have access to free facilities to help them stay fit and healthy.
"Everyone likes to exercise in a different way, so it's crucial we listen to what people want.
"We are delighted to have worked with residents and friends' groups to design these new and exciting outdoor gyms, and I look forward to seeing them up and running in the autumn."
Before installing the equipment, preview events have been organised so people can find out more about the new facilities.
The events will take place at Victoria Recreation Ground on August 7 from 9am to 11am, Preston Park on the same day from 2pm until 4pm, and Wish Park on August 8 from 2pm to 4pm.
The gyms at Victoria Recreation Ground and Preston Park are being funded by section 106 developer funding.
The equipment is being provided by company Proludic and will be installed in September.
At Wish Park, the gym is being funded with Veolia grant funding and the equipment is being provided by Kompan.
The new equipment will be installed just months after the city council invested in improvements for parks across the city.
Throughout June and July, work was carried out in a number of parks to make sure they remain accessible and safe places for people, including children, to use.
The council said this was the first phase of the council’s playground refurbish programme to create inclusive play and learning opportunities for children and young people across the city.
Residents helped to shape these plans through consultations held by Brighton and Hove City Council, with all the work completed in time for the summer holidays.
