Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.

Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

A few animals from the branch are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the Sussex North & Brighton branch carry on their work you can donate to them at the website here.

Sadie

Gender - Female

Age - Three years old

Breed - Border Collie crossbreed

Colour - Brown and White

If you want to adopt Sadie you can view their full profile here.

Sadie came into the care of the RSPCA after being removed from a hoarding situation.

She was living outside in compounds with other dogs and the conditions were far from suitable.

As a result, she was quite nervous as she had received very little socialisation and interaction with people.

Sadie is looking to find a specific home which is not too urban and is quiet, with very few comings and goings.

Additionally, she will need a familiar routine and walks in places that are not busy with lots of other dogs.

Buster

Gender - Male

Age - 10 years old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Colour - Red and White

If you want to adopt Buster you can view their full profile here.

Buster came into the care of the RSPCA in a malnourished state but has now returned to a healthy weight.

He took a while to bond with staff at the centre but they have found him to be a "friendly boy" who enjoys a neck scratch.

Additionally, he absolutely loves going on walks and is known to play with toys when the mood takes him.

Buster is looking for an adult-only, experienced home and will need his own garden.

Heather

Gender - Female

Age - One year old

Breed - Persian

Colour - White and Cream

If you want to adopt Heather you can view their full profile here.

Heather came into the care of the RSPCA from a large multi-cat home and it has taken her a while to find her feet since.

She enjoys having plenty of fuss but can still be a bit jumpy and isn’t keen on lots of things going on around her.

The RSPCA adds: "Her new owners will need to be experienced with Persian cats or similar breeds, and confident enough to groom her and clean her face/eyes as needed."

Gender - Female (Sandra) and Male (Ryan)

Age - One year old

Breed - Crossbreed

Colour - Black (Ryan) and agouti (Sandra)

If you want to adopt Sandra and Ryan you can view their full profile here.

Sandra and Ryan came into the care of the RSPCA after being surrendered by their owner.

They are described as a "sweet duo" who are both quite confident and like their treats.

Neither Sandra nor Ryan have been handled very much so can be quite wriggly.

The RSPCA adds: "They will need a large setup, either inside or outside, with plenty of enrichment. Now that they are neutered, they are almost litter-trained and continue to improve every day."
