A woman died after concerns for her welfare were reported to the police.
Sussex Police say they were called to the property in Lake Drive after reports of concern for a woman in her 40s in Lake Drive, Peacehaven, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Nearby residents reported a number of police cars as well as an air ambulance being called to the scene.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police were called following concerns for the welfare of a woman in her 40s at a flat in Lake Drive, Peacehaven, in the early hours of Wednesday, July 31.
"Despite the best efforts of paramedics who commenced CPR, the woman was sadly declared deceased.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and this will now be a coronial matter."
