A city centre car park is completely full as thousands of visitors head to the coast to soak up the sun.
Drivers are facing waits to even get into some car parks in Brighton and The Lanes Car Park in Black Lion Street, which has more than 350 spaces, is completely full.
Brighton and Hove City Council has advised motorists to go elsewhere to park, suggesting tourists use the London Road Car Park in Providence Place.
"Have you considered using London Road Car Park and walking into town through the historic North Laines [sic]?" said the council's travel page on social media platform X.

The car park is considerably cheaper than The Lanes Car Park which costs £5.50 for one hour. In London Road, it is £3 for one hour, or £16 for nine hours, which costs £33.50 at The Lanes.
The Regency Car Park near the i360 is not yet full, but the small streets surrounding it can quickly get congested with high volumes of traffic on sunny days.
Traffic sensors show that Kings Road A259 is busy and the travel time between the i360 and Palace Pier is ten minutes.
