Thunderstorms are expected to rock Sussex throughout Thursday following a mini heatwave.
The Met Office has warned that the entire county could face thunder and lightning later this week and may lead to widespread disruptions.
It comes as Sussex is expected to swelter in the heat earlier this week with temperatures expected to rise to 30 degrees come Wednesday.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms which includes the entirety of Sussex as well as the vast majority of England and Wales.
Frequent lightning, hailstorms and flash flooding could also hit the county.
