A new CCTV appeal has been launched after people were attacked outside a Taco Bell.

Sussex Police said there were a small number of victims who suffered injuries after the incident outside the restaurant in Langey Road, Eastbourne, in the early hours of July 7.

This included a woman who suffered a head injury and a man who suffered several injuries to his face.

An appeal was launched after the incident and police have now released CCTV footage of a person they want to speak to as part of their investigation.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police investigating an assault in Eastbourne town centre continue to appeal for witnesses or those with information to come forward.

"The incident happened outside Taco Bell, Langney Road around 12.35am on July 7.

"Police attended the incident at the time where a small number of victims were identified, including a female who had sustained an injury to the head, and a male who had received injuries to their face; both have since been discharged from A&E. 

"Officers investigating are keen to speak to the person pictured as they may be able to assist with police enquiries; and ask that any pedestrians or witnesses in the area at the time who saw what happened to please report it to Sussex Police online or on 101, quoting 47240129579."
