A man has been seriously injured in an attack outside a supermarket.

Sussex Police said the incident happened on June 24 at around 8.25pm outside Tesco Express in Station Road, Bognor.

A CCTV image of a man police would like to speak to in connection with the incident has now been released.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police are appealing for information following an assault in Bognor.

"Officers were called to the incident on 24 June at around 8.25pm outside Tesco Express, Station Road.

"It is reported a man suffered serious injuries.

"An image has been released of a man police would like to speak with in connection with the incident.

"Witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 1341 of 24/06."

No arrests have been made at this time.
