Nando’s has announced the opening date of its newest restaurant in Sussex.
The chain revealed today that the doors to the new site in Bognor will open to hungry customers on July 22.
The restaurant at Arun Retail Park, Shripney Road, seats 88 inside and 12 outside for those who like their PERi-PERi alfresco. People will also be able to click and collect, takeaway and order via Deliveroo.
The new restaurant will serve favourite Nando’s dishes as well as the recently launched fully loaded wrap, PERi-chicken gravy, bottomless soft swirl and frozen cocktails.

A RUBRO machine means customers can now enjoy bottomless iced tea.
The restaurant’s interior celebrates the company’s Southern African heritage with woven light fittings, bespoke fabrics and artworks from South African artists on display throughout the restaurant, as part of Nando’s ongoing partnership with Spier Arts Trust.
The launch has created 36 jobs for people in the area. Some of these roles were recruited through the WorkAid program at The Aldingbourne Trust who support adults with learning disabilities and / or autism through education, training, specialist care and employment.
Nando’s Bognor has also partnered with UK Harvest- a leading environmental and social impact charity dedicated to preventing food waste and food insecurity. Nando’s Bognor will be donating food to UK Harvest as part of Nando’s ‘No Chuckin’ Our Chicken’ initiative.
Restaurant manager Dan Massey said: “We’re so excited to be opening our first-ever restaurant in Bognor Regis. The restaurant looks amazing and we’re looking forward to bringing our flame-grilled PERi-PERi and good vibes to customers in a new town on the south coast.”
Bognor Nando’s will be open from July 22 from 11:30am seven days a week.
