A small number of motorway and A Road closures will affect Sussex traffic this weekend, according to National Highways England.

These will mainly be on the A27 in the early hours of the morning for maintenance work.

If you are set to be travelling along these areas, it's best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.

On the A27 westbound way, there will be a carriageway closure between Beddingham and Southerham.

This will take place from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday due to maintenance works.

Elsewhere, on the eastbound way at Clapham I/C there will be exit and entry slip road closures from 8pm to 6am, also due to maintenance works.
